A BIG Congratulations goes to Pauline Gervais, Denver Public Schools, the 2010 Administrator of the Year and to Steve Potter, Jefferson County Schools, the 2010 Driver of the Year. The awards were presented at the opening ceremony of the annual Summer Meeting in Pueblo on June 23rd.
Colorado has long been a leader in school bus safety. Tens of thousands of students are transported each school day, utilizing state of the art buses and advanced technology, all of which are governed by some of the strictest standards in the 50 states. However, the human factor has always been the strongest or weakest link in our chain of success in the student transportation industry.
Each day across the state thousands of these dedicated professionals insure our student’s safety by giving 110% toward their jobs. Without their caring and expertise, Colorado could not maintain the safe and efficient record that it continues to live up to year after successful year.
